If you love steampunk, you'll love this pen. The metal components combine flat head screws, riveted design patterns, replica Gatling gun barrels, and a mixture of industrialized Antique copper, pewter and brass finishes.
Following the Gatling gun theme, the ink is extended through the use of a bolt action mechanism instead of a click or twist.
The wood chosen for this pen is beautiful piece of Buckeye Burl.
For those not too familiar, Steampunk works are often set in an alternative history of the 19th century's British Victorian era or American "Wild West", in a post-apocalyptic future during which steam power has regained mainstream use, or in a fantasy world that similarly employs steam power. It's an imaginative mixture of Victorian science fiction and the industrialized 19th century.
The Steampunk genre has re-ignited a love of old fashioned materials and is all about mixing the old and new; fusing the usability of modern technology with the design aesthetic and philosophy of the Victorian age.
The removable Parker® style refill is available at any office supply or stationary store. I have included a Parker brand black gel refill.

Steampunk Inspired Pen
The wood chosen for this pen is Amboyna Burl.
Amboyna burl has been described as "one of the rarest and most expensive woods in the world". The scarcity of burl in the logs translates into rather high prices, as do its demand for use in high-end woodwork. Amboyna burl has been used for the some of the highest quality architectural woodwork and is in fact the first burl wood used for dashboards by Rolls Royce.
